Return Policy

The vast majority of products available at Team IU are returnable, provided they are returned with all original packaging, paperwork and parts in new and unused condition. Unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect or Team IU shipping error, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. To initiate a return, buyer must contact us BEFORE sending the return to request an RMA number within 30 days of receipt of the product. Items returned without an RMA number are not eligible for refund or exchange. Returns are shipped back paid by the buyer and must shipped via UPS or Fed Ex. No refund will be issued until the product has been received and checked by us.

Return Procedure

Email a Team IU Customer Care Specialist at to initiate a return. Please include “Return” in the subject line & a follow up phone number for contact. Our Customer Care Specialist will provide you with a RMA number and email you detailed return instructions. When shipping the return, this RMA number must be clearly labeled on the package. Unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect or Team IU shipping error, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs. Upon completion of product inspection, the original method of payment used to place the order will be credited the purchase price less the original shipping charges or if exchanging product all new shipping costs and any cost differences will be responsible of the buyer. If you refuse delivery or the carrier returns a package because you proved an invalid address, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Team IU will send a confirmation email once the refund has been issued. Please allow 7-10 business days for your bank to process the credit.

Defective Items (Out of Box)

If you receive an item that is broken, defective or missing parts, Team IU will provide a prepaid return shipping label or provide the missing parts. This policy is not to be confused with the manufacturer's warranty of the product. To obtain the return shipping label, follow the above return policy.

Restocking Fees

All products will be subject to a 15% restocking fee when issuing a refund. No restocking fees will occur if exchanging for another product. These items qualify for a refund, less the restocking fee and any return shipping costs, when returned with all original packaging, paperwork and parts in new and unused condition.

Non-Returnable Products

All sales are final on all closeout and clearance items, no returns will be accepted. Any custom painted items and/or special order items will not be acceptable for return or exchange.

Holiday Returns

Team IU extends the return policy from 30 to 60 days on all orders placed between Black Friday and December 24th. All other standard return policies and procedures apply.

Disclosures

Authorized items must be returned with all original packaging, paperwork and parts in new and unused condition. Items not returned in the above condition will fail inspection and a refund will not be issued. Team IU will not compensate for damages incurred during product installation or use, nor reimburse labor charges or installation fees, under any circumstances.

Yes. Items that include all original packaging, paperwork and parts in new and unused condition may be returned for exchange. Simply follow the Team IU returns procedure.

Q: What should I do if I received the wrong item?

First, verify whether the item you received is the item you ordered. After verifying that the wrong part was received please email a Team IU Customer Care Specialist at to initiate a return/exchange.

If you received what ordered you and realized that the part was incorrectly ordered we will gladly accept an exchange, but the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

If a refund is requested, upon receiving product & inspecting it a refund will be issued less the initial shipping charges. See return procedures above.
